Hell yes it is! It's slightly simplified from previous iterations, but the challenge and horrible addiction are still there.

Yea I read a comment about simplification on some review and thought oh god it's getting the Oblivion treatment. You're saying it's still complex and has challenging difficulty options though eh? Might grab it off steam after all

if you take it for what it is, it's not a bad game.

By simplification it's mostly in the UI.

The game is much more streamlined than previous versions allowing for new players to pick it up more easily.

It's still great and it's fun...play Wu Zetian (China) when learning the ropes. They're really overpowered.

Sorry Piffen....no Zulu Tribe in Civ 5
