In small quantities. I don't eat three meals a day, just one and maybe a snack or two (talking about salsa and chips or something.)

Yup, that’s the secret. The law of thermodynamics > all diet models. Anyone can eat whatever they want as long as calories in =- calories out

There’s been multiple documented cases of people who ate only candy/donuts/twinkies and still lost weight because the calorie count was low. Not like that’s a recommended diet, but people generally put too much emphasis on macronutrients and not enough on calories in vs calories out

My daily meals are protein w/veg. But yes, kept in moderation I eat whatever looks appealing.. a "see-food" diet. I do try to put in one full-sized salad or side-salad with a meal per week just to keep the digestive tract moving nice.

I put a good amount of dressing on as well, I am not trying to loose weight, I am trying to down a portion of greens and get them into my intestines.

Ya I do a full plate of steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots which I hate the most but everything comes with fucking carrots, peppers, and corn/peas usually) every night before bed. Without fail, I can go months without missing it

And it’s gross. And I fuckin hate it. But I’ve done it for years now because I know they are helpful for my immune system and gut health in some way

Edit: it’s all because of my grandma. She used to grill into our heads as kids “food is medicine”, “if you eat the right food you won’t get sick” and it seemed true. She was almost never sick in her life. Just valley fever once which almost killed her which a lot of people get when they first come to AZ due to spores in our air, and covid which she survived at 96

After becoming a desk-jockey I had to cut the food out, simply wasn't burning enough calories during my day anymore. I bet I could out-eat all of you, as I rivaled a 420lb man...a few times
