kick is nowhere near 3 dps. its like 0.3 dps.
Good to know, thanks! I had figured 10-20 per kick per cooldown plus some misses, but I was probably under estimating the number of misses.

Do you kick while raid tanking?

generally i dont; but i checked for logs where i have and i had no joke 0.3 dps. kicks do like 10 damage when they land and are on like a 6 second cooldown.

Well that's great to know, thanks! Sounds like I'll resist hitting that kick button like I've done thousands of times over the course of leveling!

Cool

Yes always kick the warrior from the exp group if you cant find friendly and helpful allies to orchestrate a tragic "tank down!" Situation.

I hope this answered your inquiry my friend.

Kick is completely worthless outside of interrupting casts, so if that's not a concern, it isn't worth doing. The damage is so low that it won't ever make any difference whatsoever, it generates no meaningful aggro, and it carries the risk of an untimely riposte.

If snakes can figure out how to kick when it is biologically impossible, then there must be SOME good reason to kick.

Kick interrupts spells after 55. If I lose aggro I immediately Taunt and then press Kick. Taunt brings me to equal aggro as highest, Kick gives me a few extra on top. Kick at 60 on raid targets can be as much as 5-7 dps. (a ton)

Exclamation

For the record, my 2 posts above in this thread were absurd parodies! Apologies if anyone thought I was being serious about disliking rangers and warriors [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I actually love grouping with good rangers and warriors - and I have had the pleasure of grouping with lots of them! This was during classic era in 2000-2004 as well as on Blue99, Green99, & Aradune TLP. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I leveled a couple wood-elf rangers to pretty high levels on both Aradune TLP and on Blue99. Rangering can be alot of fun and also helpful! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
