1-20 it's the best, yes. when dmg cap goes up, it's beat out by adam club/stave of shielding or peacebringer/tstaff.
imo. | ||

I had great fun with velium staff on my cleric from 1 to 35, fungi + thurg legs, decent haste and dex gear. I dont think its worth putting on INT casters tho since they cant really heal their melee

I did Wqs 1-46 then epic! Cheap and easy ... perhaps ifs pk or ta woulda bin faster (and they say time is money)...

Dual wield check doesn’t need to succeed for off hand to proc.
There is room for argument the velium crystal staff is one of the best offhand weapons until dual wield skill reaches a respectable level. Edit: in my previous post I meant to type ‘pb’ (peace bringer) rather than ‘pk’ and ‘ts’ (tranquil staff) not ta. Forgive me, I’ve been poorly recently. | ||

Is it really more for a monk? mmeh its a lot of hype. Its probably best till soft cap on 2hder is lifted, 30ish? but as alli said, resists are real and that dmg delay is sorta crap compared to some options. TL;DR VCS is a lot of hype. people who say its the best of the best are kinda full of crap
