WinEQ2 is free. You have to REGISTER on their site. But that's because you have to log in to their services when you run the program for it to work. It's free, otherwise.

Also, Duxa's is not the same thing.

I'm failing over here... reset the router (verizon fios) and still no servers showing up... first time I've tried to login in a week. Still no solution so far?

EDIT: Wow I failed allright...I hadn't done the latest patch, once I did the servers came back lol.

only because Im feeling helpful today

http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=PlayGuide

scroll halfway down and the issue you're having is definitely isp related. same thing happens to me at times. I have to turn off router for 30mins and reset computer. Usually fixes it, if not then wait longer.

In your eqhost.txt file, located in everquest install directory ( default is C:\program files\Sony\everquest\ )

Host=eqemulator.net:5998

Thanks for the help guys. I located and checked the file in question -- everything is fine in there, port is correct etc. Router was rebooted, etc. Not sure what the problem is, it's worked fine for the last year or so, and with no changes to my system all of a sudden nothing works eq-wise. I've been getting the servers listed SOMETIMES, but if I do the game crashes when it's trying to login. Or it's a blank server selection screen, or when trying to connect to the login server it gives error it cannot connect.

I don't feel like messing with it further, but thanks for the replies.

Well, I wasn't going to do it just to play EQ, but I started having more and more connectivity problems with no idea of fixing them, so I just said screw it and reinstalled XP. Can now connect to EQ again.
