I wish I voted for dark elf now but the hide ability is a strong case for dark elf intelligence casters vs gnome secret meta wall hack ability.

Dark elf is best choice for wizard and mage. Walk hacks are what put gnome into C for me instead of D or lower.

Results on red may be different, but DE still has hide for that time when your opponent forgets to put on his see invis item or buff himself.

There are places where gnomes shortness makes it hard for them to jump

But there are places where gnomes shortness lets them enter where others cant

There are places where gnomes shortness makes them autoduck where normal height (elf and up) do not auto duck.

Then its wall vision vs hide ability.

Then the small bonus of being evil race vs non evil race.

Its a toss up and its why I haven't made an intelligence caster in a while, can't decide.
