In Albuquerque, New Mexico? I AM the minority. Maybe that's why it took so long....

Funny you should say that, even before she posted the foot picture, I was thinking "Tralina at the ER.. ..musta been too much $1/pint vodka."

Then I saw the picture, and I was sure of it.

Tralina, learn to bathe, WTF. That foot hasn't seen a good scrub in a week if it's been a day. No fucking wonder it won't heal. No fucking wonder they won't see you. ER personnel don't like helping people that are capable of helping themselves but don't.

I said that picture was a month old. L2 read. There are two open wounds, both very clean, just not healing because of an underlying infection.

Welp, got out like 30 minutes ago. FELT SO NICE TO SHOWERRRR. I'm on two antibiotics and some percocet for the pain. It's classified as a "non-healing open wound due to infection", so says my paperworks. I have an appointment for the hospital's wound clinic on Saturday, since my visit to the ER was primarily for the infection, where as these guys will deal with the physical wound itself.

What a hellish 30 hours. Glad it's over. I now live in an apartment on the first floor (2 weeks too late!) so I will not be battling any cement stairs again.

PS they tested for diabetes since it wasn't healing and it was nega-nega-negative, so shut your mouths.
