Welp, got out like 30 minutes ago. FELT SO NICE TO SHOWERRRR. I'm on two antibiotics and some percocet for the pain. It's classified as a "non-healing open wound due to infection", so says my paperworks. I have an appointment for the hospital's wound clinic on Saturday, since my visit to the ER was primarily for the infection, where as these guys will deal with the physical wound itself. What a hellish 30 hours. Glad it's over. I now live in an apartment on the first floor (2 weeks too late!) so I will not be battling any cement stairs again. PS they tested for diabetes since it wasn't healing and it was nega-nega-negative, so shut your mouths.
