Trump, also, made a bad decision, but it wasn't incomprehensibly stupid. He didn't defy the advice of all his military advisors when he made the decision, like biden did. That's the point.

And notice that biden is now right back to rambling about covid, because he doesn't want people talking about his afghanistan debacle. When a republican ADDS MORE TROOPS to the country and they get killed, the soldiers just died from war. LOL

The president is the commander of the entire military. Biden had no mandate to do certain things based on the previous administration. What he did falls squarely on him, period.

I agree. The wife and I regularly complain about jerks who send their kids to school sick or who go shopping while hacking their lungs out. Not arguing there. I'm only arguing that I'll support their right to be jerks before I support a government overstepping its bounds. In the long run--I'm talking generations, rather than months or years--I regard the former as less harmful than the latter. This entire situation could have and should have been handled better instead us having to watch a flagrantly corrupt government gobble up whatever power it thinks it can. I don't want to die of covid any more than you do, but I don't want to trade away my rights when history tells us it's probable we'll never get them back, either.
