Yeah Trump did it too after S&P500 was down like 6% or whatever in 2018.

You want to find the root cause, its Obama/Bernanke after 2008. Powell literally did the same thing. Its the only reason I can think of why he is buying MBS when housing prices are so high, cause that's what Obama/Bernanke did ten years ago.
The root cause is we have national debt and can’t really raise interest rates

It’s going to take decades of higher taxes on people like me and austerity on multiple priorities, including a defense budget topped at 3% GDP

I don’t think any of these guys running central banks know what to do in a climate of increasing labor shortages. No “modern” democracy except for Israel has positive population growth due to natural births. That’s gonna be a tough one to solve.

Pretty sure Obama started the continuing resolution bullshit too.

Btw, trump didn’t control the fed. Before you respond, I wasn’t being serious. Just throwing your own dumb ass misunderstanding of the federal gov back at you. It’s very easy to play the team sport Blame game

I get it you dont like trump, but you cant deny that he ran a better country. And as far as foreign policy goes do I have to say it again that BDE politics is the way america works, not this NATO shit that got half of ukraine killed.

Aside from trumps V shape recovery, we've done nothing but slip further and further towards a recession and Im certain it wont stop there.

Yes we’ve definitely had terrible leadership for a while now, I agree. Didn’t vote for Obama either time, though I probably would now given who is running against him

I just don’t think you guys acknowledge Biden was dealt a shitty hand. Some degree of inflation was imminent based on fed decisions in 2020. Pandemic closed borders and delayed trade, regardless of your feeling on our response (the effects were global). Biden is also a moderate senate democrat with a 50/50 senate and with the smallest house majority in history. Him acting as if he has a mandate is dumb, but the response to him as if he’s ramming through communist policies makes no sense. He’s a placeholder until someone better comes along. Sadly, there isn’t really an inspiring or intelligent candidate from either party that I see. Mitt Romney is another placeholder

Booming economy
"vaccines" starting to roll out
some real progress on the southern boarder
some real steps to peace in the middle east regarding israel and iran
more oil and cheaper energy production at home

all of this was tanked within less than a year. Wasn't 100 percent his fault but he sure cheered on the lockdowns while trying to help get trillions spent that wasn't needed.

The best policy would have been just hands off.

The fact that you put “vaccines” in quotations like that makes me think perhaps you’re seeing this with the rose colored glasses of a partisan. I agree with most of that, definitely not about Iran. Iran has been amping up cocaine smuggling in South America. They will never make peace, best you can hope for is them not to get a nuke. Trust me my man, I am a relatively peaceable persian and I spent most of high school beating the shit out of every redneck and black who looked at my sister or talked shit about my brother. You’d have to kill us to a man to get us to submit

Trump left office with 1/5th of our money supply being added in one year, the employment rate was historically low, housing prices shooting up

Biden has been bad on the border (all Dems are, thoufh we’re still to the right of Bush era policies), and bad on energy. Agree with those 100%. I also agree democrats are going to lose BIGLY in midterms this year

Still, you guys give trump a lot of credit for doing a poor job in the latter half of his presidency, hence why he lost the election in places like georgia and Arizona. Everyone with something to lose didn’t like him at the helm of the country. He lost people like me who vote Republican more often than not because he genuinely handled BLM protests, Covid, Iran, to name a few about as poorly as one could. Great job on the border and oil though from my perspective
