I don't think it's that we like fighting hitlers, those in power are taking advantage of our fear.

If you can scare someone into thinking they're in danger, they will relinquish any freedoms to you if you promise to protect them.

This is how the Patriot Act passed.

And this is how something heinous will pass to "protect" us from Climate Change.

Just more freedoms and rights being revoked. And the government doesn't just give those back.

There is definitely something fucky with reality. The cosmological constant and physical laws in general are exactly where they need to be to make the universe as we know it possible.

The sun is almost exactly 400x larger than the moon yet also 400x further away. And we look up and they are almost the exact same god damn size?
