I was watching streams back in 2008 when twitch wasn't a household term.
Strongly dislike what streaming has become.

Digital on demand, I do like this. being able to stream movies from like amazon or some place is great.

Twitch has a very obvious political agenda. Their banning process is fucking disgusting.. IcePoseidon, KingKongor, DrDisrespect, GrossyGore, RompuzRoom, JeffLeach(moron but i respect him)

I miss the streams where it was literally just gameplay with minimal comments. That's how I checked out a lot of games before buying them on Steam (and never playing them). That and actually useful instructional ones - train signals in Factorio come to mind.

This reminds me of s1e2 of black mirror:“15 Milion Merits”. I don’t want to spoil it for you but it’s a short about a futuristic world where everyone rides an exercise bike that’s actually a generator. The only people that don’t are famous entertainers cause everyone spends all their merits on streaming rentals.

It does not end with good feels, there’s your warning.
