They had a LOT of medical professionals testify. And they had to, if any complication other than asphyxiation was not ruled out then there was a good chance of a not guilty verdict. I mean we are talking murder here, you’re going to want multiple opinions for obvious reasons.

Im wondering why so little for the defense though? They just had that one guy that disagreed with all those witnesses the prosecution brought in, I thought he was going to do the exact opposite? Why not?

They had some use of force experts and doctors testify for the defense, it wasn’t so few as you put it. I felt that it seemed like enough to make a fair judgment on the case.

This will easily be appealed. Trial never should have taken place in Minneapolis, jury wasn't sequestered, lots of influence from public figures, etc.

Maybe next time we'll get real jurors that understand the concept of reasonable doubt.

Though I do agree, he probably didn’t meet the criteria for “murder”
