Certain NPCs are, but that doesn't mean the game is or that it's developers were and it shouldn't mean player characters get to piggyback off of it with the real world equivalent.

In terms of racism, WoW doesn't hold a candle to the old WWF. WWE ain't a whole lot better. W the president wasn't much of a friend to the non-whites either. In fact, W is the most racist letter.

Clearly, an all-Erudite guild should be possible. EQ is indeed a game full of warring factions and in-game racism (Dark Elves versus Halflings...Humans versus Trolls, Ogres, Dark Elves...High Elves looking down their noses at everyone). However, as soon as you bring real-life stereotypes and references into it, it becomes unacceptable.

Regarding DMO in particular, I'm not commenting.
