In fairness,

1) Jimjam's post was just a set up for a joke about how people like to complain they have nothing to do instead of actually doing something.

2) Jimjams post was uncharacteristically succinct, and had a lot of room for expansion of detail.

3) Generally people view conversation as an invitation to express their opinion rather than a chance to actually see what others have to say
