I wouldn't mind if he was strongly censured from politics, most of his stolen wealth was confiscated, his credit score ruined, and he was put on social security based on zero income. And he had to use the same VA programs as homeless veterans. But prison would protect him from the consequences of his actions maybe. I doubt he'll go to jail.

I'd assume the simple answer is No. And he definitely won't do any time... Just a lot of people's time and energy will go into all this. But he's a free man now. People will stop pursuing him in a short amount of time, and life will resume as we knew it. This is the way.
