Yeah he’s so smart that with his terrible business practices he has caused all the contractors in FL to unite together and refuse to do business with him without a 20% increase in the total amount he pays for the job (because he has a history of just refusing to pay afterward and then hoping you can’t afford it as he drags it out in court once you sue him).

He’s so smart that he had to turn his own estate into a golf resort (Mar A Lago) because he had nearly bankrupted himself and couldn’t afford to keep the estate otherwise.

He’s so smart that the vast majority of his business ventures have failed.

He’s not smart really. I’ve hung out with him multiple times at his clubs in FL and NJ/NY; the dude is really not intelligent. He is asset rich though for sure, but much of that came from the inheritance his father gave him.

Do you think people should have to pay to educate children with their property taxes? You should be in favor of things that make society better even if they don't directly help you with their 1st order effects.

The vast majority of my loans are borrowed against my family trust rather than through banks and therefore wouldn't be paid off. It's still a good idea to forgive student loan debt because it's an exceptional source of stimulus, much better than giving billions to corporations. It directly targets productive middle class professionals who are insanely prolific drivers of spending and growth. It also directly targets young people, who are struggling in a society where all the wealth and power is controlled by boomers.

Don't be like a boomer; leave the world better than you found it.
