Oh the way I took his response was to respond to the part where you said "the 10 /ooc's that followed each of his messages telling him to shut up". I don't think he meant to attack you, but to show how people like him. Or something like that.

Yeah, but my post wasn't really flaming him. I was merely pointing out that those that were hating on him were nearly as guilty of spamming as he was.

No doubt some people liked him. Posting a handful of cherry picked screen shots hardly proves anything about the general consensus though.

I didn't care for it personally, but it was easy enough to /ignore. My point is only that even after ignoring Professor, I still had ooc's firing from dozens of other parties complaining about him. Far more annoying, IMO.

I was not a fan, but I didn't complain, either. I keep my text large so my old eyes can read it, so anything longer than a full sentence will make text fly by without me being able to read it. His posts didn't bother me, they just made my ooc/auction window unreadable at times. /ignore works just fine, no need to silence him.

Now, these guys like Bomb et al, that continually spam extremely profane and disgusting crap on ooc, and I suspect switch to different characters to get around many who have ignored them, are a different story. They need to be shot. In the face. With a Howitzer.
