In any discussion of these kinds of statistics you have to acknowledge the apples & oranges aspect, namely that the US has a huge low-achieving underclass (whether you think that low achievement is due to systematic oppression or other factors is a different discussion entirely and one that is virtually outlawed in Western discourse).

If you looked only at primary-culture Americans the numbers would look far different.
