As a healthcare professional it's always my instinct to educate and help prevent illness. But we're at (and we've been at for half a year now) a place where politics has completely consumed the minds of these Qanon mouth breathers. It hasn't been worth the effort to get upset over for a long time. In fact, I (and most of my family) prosper off of stupid people. If there weren't for stupid people like OP I would be out of a job. So in a financial sense we love people like op and his rebellious band of anti-maskers. The irony of the fact that you believe not wearing a mask is somehow superior is the reason I stick around these forums.

So basically, it's great when both people wear masks. They may not be as great at keeping you from getting sick, but they are definitely good for reducing viral load you may expel. And since so many people get it but are asymptomatic, it's good to wear the mask to ensure you aren't spreading it without your knowledge. We reduce the viral load being expelled and you just might be able to prevent someone who was in the same space from getting sick because the amount of viral load is really key in terms of whether someone gets sick when they inhale it.

https://aapsonline.org/mask-facts/ has a load of studies that point pretty clearly to masks being at best minimally effective. The most recent 5000 person randomized controlled trial in Denmark failed to show a statistically significant difference.

By the way, according to official data China has had 80,000 COVID cases and 4000 total deaths. Do you believe them?
