I'm actually really disappointed seeing what they're doing, as I recently started playing Green and was kind of excited to get a fresh start.

I guess their precident of abandoning classic mechanics expanded from the raid scene...though good thing we got the shaders working! Also the fact it appears it was not communicated well, as there's a few posts in other parts of the forums that show people confused by this change, thinking its a bug.

Long game people will get upset and press on...but I am a bit worried about what unannounced, non-classic twist may be coming down the road and what other effects it will have on the community.

Starting small and growing is how these things usually go...im not expecting cats on the moon anytime soon but unless someone can correct me and show that EQLive also disabled quest exp for the first month of launch, this sour taste in my mouth from this isn't going away anytime soon.
