Great, that wasn't my point. My point was that we do not and have never responded this way to literally any other communicable disease. This response is hysterical and borderline paranoid-schizophrenic. Why are we responding this way to this one? If you have a good answer to that question I'd love to hear it.

I'm starting to believe that's how he thinks.
if you catch my drift.

Heart disease - over 300k-600k death in America every year
Cancer - over 250k-600k deaths in America ever year
Accidents - over 50k-200k deaths in America every year

covid - 258K deaths in America according to google.

Now don't get it twisted I'm not trying to under play covid deaths. Statistically it doesn't match up with yearly deaths of other factors. The longer we're exposed to covid the less deaths there will be. The more testing that is perform the more cases number will rise.

And this is a very political subject in America.
I firmly believe we should be protecting those who are vulnerable to it and allowing everyone else to live their life. Covid is not going away, it's here to stay sorry not sorry. There are still flare up cases of SARS for example.

Fucking Leprosy still exists and that's an Ancient Disease.

Trivial matter to identify a realistic number of covid deaths discounting people who were going to die anyway and covid simply finished them off: Look at total deaths since about March versus the average American death rate for a similar timespan.

We've never had covid before which makes it an anomaly. Now if you want to compare the data next year to this year. It would much more validated. Working to lower the cases and deaths is very important. I don't want anyone to think I'm against that.
edit: I do think we can make educated predictions based on what we've learned this year however so to that extent I agree.

I agree covid has finished off people who I define as vulnerable. One issue with identifying who is vulnerable is who defines one's wellness as being a state of vulnerable.
