Well according to Detox, nobody but Freedom, AG or Riot should have any input on the raid rules because they're all filthy casuls who dont even compete. Not TSS, not DB, not Kittens, not Lighthouse, Aegis, none of them. They pretend to be the champion of the little guy, while simultaneously saying they should have no say in how the default rules of the server should be set.

The paradox of course being, how can Freedom have a voice in telling people who can and cant speak about the rules because they don't compete when Freedom doesn't even compete on their own, basically since their inception? Pot calling the kettle black.

Come on man you have to know how disingenuous this is. Galach and Menden are the ones that said this is a problem for R/F/AG to solve. Nobody had any complaints for an entire week that so many people were chiming in but at some point there is such thing as too many people wanting to have their say in that channel. None of the rulesets being discussed are meant to discourage smaller guilds from competing. The opposite is true actually: all of Riot's server default proposals encourage zerg level raiding. Smaller guilds will have a much easier time competing with mechanics like FTE lockouts in place. Once Kittens has an FTE on Aary, that mob is effectively their mob for an hour+. But no, Riot has a hard line against FTE lockouts.

We get that Riot wants to push for a full server rotation, and we get that the casual guilds favor that. Freedom isn't evil for wanting competition, it's just the way we think the game is best enjoyed for us and the server maintainers are clearly in agreement.

Freedom has not told any smaller guild to shut up or keep out, we simply wanted clarification on Menden's post. Nobody stopped Kittens/TSS/DB/AEGIS/etc. from offering up suggestions once Galach made it clear this was an F/R/AG problem to resolve. We limited our guild to 2-3 reps max in UN, and we believe other non-entities (Sorry Keera, it's true) should refrain from posting there too. Again, if that makes us the bad guys then I really don't know what to say.

The thing that strikes me the most Kaiser is that every single one of your own personal suggestions is closer to Freedom's than it is your own guilds yet you are intent and shitting on us here in RnF. You don't want rotations, you want harsher penalties for petitions. That is quite literally the crux of our proposal.

The length and effort it took to write these is the exact reason why the raid scene on Blue is toxic and broken beyond repair. None of them are sincere. Whichever proposal is agreed upon will be blown up within a week or two.

We all know the real end game of all of these guilds is to deny everyone else loot. That's why the raid scene is toxic. This is why P99 raiding on blue has been broken for more than 10 years.

It started with IB

You still even see the posts today "Sorry you didn't get warder loot"

They are more proud of denying everyone else loot than attaining it. That's why all of these guilds are a disgrace and should never be allowed to raid on the server ever again. Instead of breaking the cycle, they have perpetuated it.

Entire MMOs (way more successful) were designed to specifically negate this attitude so the 95% of other people playing the game can enjoy it.

The problem is this sick attitude doesn't end with raid mobs. As they get bored and roll alts, the toxicity bleeds into xp zones making everyone's life miserable as they pull entire zones to PL their alts.

Keep them banned forever. The server is sick and needs to heal. Their collective attitude is a steaming turd that needs to be flushed down the toilet.

It's the scorpion and the frog. They could write 100 page documents with proposed rules and changes, it doesn't change who they are as individuals. It doesn't change their character. It doesn't sate their lust and greed for denying everyone else pixels.

Keep them all banned. Never let them raid here again.
