I'd personally love to see up to PoP, as it was my favorite era in EQ. It won't happen here though, and not for lack of funds. Devs have clearly stated that they just don't like post-Velious content and have no intention of ever working on it.

They might have a distaste for that content, but there is also a prevalent reoccurring issue Of unsavory behavior due to this limitation because of server population size, limited content, and the toxicity that will keep repeating itself. Again this is only my perspective on a solution for this repetitive behavior, it is only an opinion, I don't really think any of it will ever substantiate or come to fruition…

But it's nice to come here and discuss it as a possibility, It offers a different approach and mentality to a problem that's been going on for years. It is essentially the same type of bickering that goes on between political parties, my opinion offers transcendence. People don't like change, it's understandable.

Obviously the thing that would take the biggest load off of the over worked unpaid volunteer staff is to introduce the vt key camps to non instanced p99, certainly the player base here would handle that well

TAKP rotates all content. Also, cannot paid/fund devs. They have strict agreement with Daybreak that keeps P99 in semi-sanctioned territory.

I would have brought that up, however since this is a blue 99 forums discussion I didn't think it would be appropriate to mention that here, and also because a lot of people have been playing here for a very long time.

there is a very strong community on blue 99, wanted to discuss with the servers current population about their thoughts on moving into a new era on this server As a solution for top guild behavior/ToV bans

Let me explain why it is, in fact, the most appropriate response.

Most of the people who are on TAKP from P99 are there because we wanted a reprieve from the current bloat that exists on p99 and the drama and toxicity that follows. We moved from P99 because the Devs here do not WANT their server to be characterized by rotations, peace pacts and civility. They are very clear about wanting a highly competitive environment. If you make suggestions that remove the pain you are experiencing, then you are making suggestions to also remove the competitive nature that this environment creates. Therefore, you are suggesting a highly inappropriate suggestion.

You are also suggesting a solution (to this non-problem) that has clearly been shown to be opposed to their Era design.

If you really want a change of environment, go to a different environment.
