EverQuest PvP sucks and mostly it's about PPing, screen dragging, and whoever has the best gear. But the handful of times I've had legitimate group vs. group clashes over leveling spots or raid targets are all permanently seared into my brain and they're some of my very best MMORPG memories.

Would be cool to experience some of that again on a fresh red 2.0

I think it would be cool for one "team" to hold onto the Unrest Mansion.

Other team comes from port in and tries to take the Mansion from other team.

Like CS:GO or somethn

Would be quite easy i assume to mod something that makes EQ feel like eve online, with guilds holding on to zones for economical/item advantages. I played a full loot Wow with housing so this cant be this complicated.
