For the past year i been visiting ports in miami and ft lauderdale to try to get cargo through quarantine so i can sell it, most people have no idea what a god dam mess it is down there.
When someone sends a gigantic shipment of fertilizer with no paperwork all they can do is stick it in a warehouse why would they spend money to truck it someplace? it has no value | ||

Ports are one of the weakest links in existence. I'm shocked that the US hasn't had nuclear or biological material snuck in (maybe it's here, just hasn't been used yet).
The other ship-in-port explosion I think of is the Galveston Bay explosion: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_City_disaster Truly horrific. Non-nuclear of course, but my god. | ||
