Which race for a solo Necro?

Is it simply because more Str = higher weight limit? If so, wouldn't the loss of Int / Mana be a bigger deal than holding some more weight?

Also, why Erudite instead of Gnome or Dark Elf? They have a higher starting Str?

All the current races but humans get the same str for necro.

Even when you subtract 5 for agility you will still have higher int+str than all the other choices, and on top of that you get an additional bonus to your magic save. Take a chick and win fashion quest. Avoid the dudes though. Most are ugly greaseball looking things.

Great chef, but sadly halflings can't be necro...

Gnome is probably the best, but if you don't have the severe substance abuse and trust issues required to play one then I suggest instead erudite. For a farming build str and 5 agi just to help you get started. Even after getting WR bags the str will still help carry currency.

Personally I enjoy that Iksars are hated by everyone, so an Iksar Necro is the ultimate evil. I murder Antonicans at will, as vengeance for the hardships endured by my ancestors!
