Blue is the finished, final patched, polished and friendly server.

Green was launched with a new UI, alot of QoL things gone, and new experimental systems such as /list. It plays very different from blue server.

So technically, Green Is An Experimental Beta Test Server.

Watchu got, Nirgon? Lets do this.

still waiting on a coherent fact based arguement as to how and why blue is a "beta" server, whilst green was used to test out new systems.

Project 1999
Prior to October of 2019, Project 1999 had two servers: a PvP Server (Red) and a non-PvP server (Blue). As impressive as those two servers are are, the volunteers behind Project 1999 have even larger ambition. In fact, the current servers are really only a stepping stone for them.

The true goal of Project 1999, since it's inception, has been tore-create Classic (through Velious) EverQuest as accurately as possible, so that everyone can experience what it was like back in '99 ... and that means the Green server.
