Yeah, no. Those people aren't working in hazardous conditions. They're not elderly with underlying health conditions in nursing homes. For them it's just a slight increase of risk over their regular working conditions. Also they're not performing "work duty that causes extreme physical discomfort and distress". Maybe some, but it's not extreme.

What they should get is a parade and the knowledge that among the millions of people who were fired through executive orders, their career prospects seem very optimistic and secure.

That's mostly CNA's, not nurses. As someone who works with nurses, 80% are the most useless sacks of shit in the entire hospital. Never before has a profession been so quick to take credit and gone to such great lengths to avoid responsibility. You don't see nephrologists all dolled up in their cleanest scrubs marching around the statehouse seeking praise and posing for selfies. They're too busy actually making a difference

My son is smarter than you and was an ICU nurse for a while. He definitely did a lot of heavy lifting, as does his wife (another nurse). Gonna have to disagree with you guys, they deserve hazard pay by orders if magnitude more than minimum wage workers deserve $1000 a week in unemployment
