Sam Adams Wee Heavy. 10% alcohol, a dark roasted, slightly sweet Scottish Ale. The term 'Wee Heavy' comes from scottish ales to refer to the strongest of scotch ales. I will pay homage to odin as i imbibe all 48 ounces of glory in my flagon.
I have not had the Sam Adams Wee Heavy but I will definitely look for it. I have had a Wee Heavy by Iron Hill brewery at one of their brewpubs and it was very nice, in fact it was the favorite of everyone I was with. Unfortunately they only served it in little tiny glasses. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

You may (or most likely may not) be happy to know I have weaned myself from the soda and have been putting my whiskey rocks to good use with jameson flying solo.

Usually 15 year variety though.

On a hot-as-ballsack day like today, though, I'd suggest:

3 Parts lime flavored vodka
1 Part gin
Squirt of lemon juice
Top with sweet and sour mix + 7 up in equal portions

I am drinking:

Wild Blue, a rather mainstream beer produced by our pals at anhieser(whatever sp?). The beauty in this beer is the 8% alcohol content though. 9 bucks for a 6 pack, and a good punch.
