Only internally. The young in Iran aren’t huge fans of the government. The octogenarians who remember the Iran-Iraq war dying off might foment political change

You think at some point in time the ancestors of the modern Iranians has blonde hair and blue eyes or something?

Like when humans started in Africa and migrated to the Middle East, a bunch of those guys went to Europe instead and got all blonde and shit and then walked to Iran and set up a nice country for themselves? I think that there is a chance bubur is right, and a chance Gatorsmash is right.

There's evidence to make me think Gatorsmash is right, but then there is the indomitable spirit of America that seems to think it can Superman its way through this thing no problemo.

And hey maybe you're right! Maybe the whole planet is like collectively having a mass hysterical freak out right now, I sure hope so! That would be quite funny if you think about it it after all, if we were that afraid of the Apocalypse likely from all our movies and rhetoric in the media that we just sheltered in place for months when we totally didn't have to.

I mean not only would that be good news, but what an epic thing to look back on in history class. All these ruined businesses and lives from the fear of a virus that like, turns out to be totally fine.

But then again, dangit... there is evidence that none of that is true and that we wont be Supermaning our way through anything except the last 3 days of our water lung filled lives as the virus mutates over the next year because millions become infected as it kills 30% of mexico and central america and every person we know over the age of 80 by the end of next year.
