I remember when I was in primary school. Some police came in to teach us about "stranger danger" and "say no, never go".

It took me decades to realise, but having an authority figure coming to school to tell me "unmentionable horrors* WOULD befall Jimjam for interacting with strangers" actually ended causing me significant social anxiety, which fortunately now I have largely grown out from.

I wonder if being taught about a specific, deadly, unseen horror (c19) will cause worse social anxiety than the 'don't trust strangers, they'll lure you into a van with sweets, never to be seen again'.

I'm guessing it will be far, far worse, as I imagine they'll still be taught about the 'unmentionable horrors'.

*I'm guessing these would mean paedophiles, torturers and child killers. Please don't enlighten me about all the other terrible people to which it could also refer to. I think getting red pilled by the police at 5 years old was a bit much. I think there would have been less social harm to kids if they were blue pilled. Were the chances of being abducted in the 80s so high? If an assailant was determined, could a small child really stop them anyway?

When i was young both me and my brother had an issue where we were almost kidnapped in a store

Happened constantly in the 80s

we had pandemics, were sick all the time in NY and nothing has changed

Yeah, you know the further east (and further north, hello Sweden!) you go the better they get. I mean the French women are pretty fugly with those Gallic noses, the Belgians et al not much better, Germans, Austrians, etc pretty plain.

Probably just due to their population being larger than any other European country. IMO you can find attractive women from almost any country or race, and then wealth and lifestyle factor in. Lots of wealthy Persians where I live and most of the women are attractive. Seemed like most of the women in Norway were fit due to the active culture so lots of attractive women. If Americans didn't eat so much or do meth, fentanyl, etc we'd have way more attractive women here now.
