One way to catch a botter (name and shame inside)

Looks like he made a macro. Why is this botting with one toon?

Confused by all this. What exactly is a botter and why was he casting on you? Was he afk running an illegal program or something that lets him skill up or get XP’s?

NPC in question had the same first name as OP.

The ‘botter’ Was running some sort of automated program that would kill this npc automatically for him while he was afk.

OP suspected this and created the char just to see. When OP got nearby, botterboys script ran but targeted OP instead of NPC. Proving he was utilizing an automated kill NPC system.
