My question is how is he afk hitting the afk checks and doesn't loot the corpse yet he is checking the afk boxes?
I know the answer to this and how its done. Just posing the question that actually matters here. Not the rot, not the people who are mad about the rot, how was he passing the afk checks, are you telling me he passed all the AFK checks and then in the span of a few minutes went afk and it rotted? more like something smells rotten if you ask me.

So not exactly same item BUT
it does have the weird variance in drop rates. over 2days i spend 5 to 6 hours total for my boots with 2 boots dropping in a row in front of me. one enchanter after me spent only 2 hours to get his boots and a poor warrior spend 6 hours more before he finished 36 hours over various days to get his. The list from short experience seems to work. Yes i was lucky in my short camp vs that poor warrior. The variance can be long but range is a b#tch sometimes on this sever <shrug> Ps never plan to do mana stone camp here it just not worth it to me.

In the first few days, we all formed lines and waited our turn for the Thex Dagger quest. At this point in time it was considered an epic item (we all didn't know when the quest would get removed). On Red we all were respectful of each other when it came to the manastone camp and other camps. People basically let each other camp the manastone. I think the problem here on Green/Teal is that nobody trusts each other, not even the devs. Nobody wants to give us a chance. I believe we can make it work. I'm not trying to sound cheesy but I honestly feel we, as a server, can make these camps work. There are already server rules set up, if we follow these and then put a special agreement together (like a few camps on blue) I feel we don't need the list, on all 3 camps. I feel like this should have been approached earlier in the cycle and an in-game script/function should not have been the solution. It's just not in the spirit of EQ to force these things on players. We all love EQ because of no restrictions. It's one of the only games where you can drop a level 50 item on a level 1, for example. This is no different then putting a level requirement on an item.

So no... I do not think that guilds that attempt to monopolize money/item camps would ever try to monopolize manastone camps. They'd be waaaay too busy monopolize net camps for that. /s
