I rolled a paladin back in 1999 and I rolled a paladin on Blue in 2013, now I rolled a paladin on Green. What is wrong with me??

Enjoying my dwarf rogue so far. Really wish I had backstab though

Having plenty of fun on my level 14 gnome warrior so far. I've been using Bull Smasher and a Minotaur Battle Axe and I have very little trouble holding aggro so far. Really looking forward to getting double attack at level 15 and trying out Oasis for XP.

Another goal is to get some solid magic weapons ASAP for Unrest - PGT and possibly a good combine weapon, or if I can get one early enough, langseax.

I The real difficulty isn't so much the penalty alone, but the drama it brings. Ive only ever been demonstrably denied once outright for a Rogue that I know of. Also, two other groups got angry over a Ranger being in their group making the leveling slower. Some bickering has broken out and I get concerned that will make it tougher to find groups with anyone who got involved after, etc.

Some people are crazy.

Well. Interesting ideas here about first wave and second wave. To the OP - stick with the cleric. I started a Druid at launch and just refilled today to necro. Maybe it will change ( hopefully ) but groups are so hell bent on getting pet classes. Have a very different time getting groups as the Druid, and trust me, nothing will piss you off worse than not being able to get a group and then finding several camps being duo’d by Necros and mages who don’t want to split their xp. lol.

Maybe I’ll revisit the Druid sometime. I really wanted to atleast get to try charm animal, but soloing high greens would literally take me a century.

Oh, also, re: the hybrid penalty. That prejudice is maybe a lot more common than you think. I’ve seen people being out right rude to hybrids and having no problems with telling them why.

Did you play on blue?

People complained about grouping with (and some even refused to group with too many) hybrids up until the day they removed the penalty. Which was, of course, a LOT longer time period than the penalty will exist on green. Of course "those players" will last.

Reality doesn't adjust to your wishes just because you state your wishes out loud as if they were true.

Find a pet class soloing thats higher level than you. i.e. at hell level 3 find an level 4 pet class. They will get much more exp this way so this gives them incentive to group with you.
