I've always wondered about setups like this, do you just manually reopen the skill window every time you accdientally ESC it closed?

That space on the left is just a general space for any window I don't want to obscure the other elements. I don't need those to be persistent. I check the skill window once in a while. I don't run around with my inventory or bags open. It's there in the screenshots to show the available space for that sort of thing.

I do wish there was a way to pin the windows open though.

Ah, disappointing, because yeah, I love the idea of tracking more stuff (inventory, skills, etc) permanently.

Thanks for the reply!

BlackBellamy that looks wonderful! I love the blue tint for the chat windows and the UI arrangement.

Thanks! Chatfontsize is key to making this arrangement readable. The blue window background is achieved by tint setting 0 0 20.

I had my viewport all the way to one side, using as much vertical resolution as I could with 4x3 viewport.

On the right I had open inventory, and other stuff.

i filled out my chat windows and ended up going with just black background for chat instead of the dark blue. really happy how it turned out. thank you everyone for posting!

i find myself playing in 1st person more often now. anyone else doing that too after switching to viewport?

I don't use Viewport, I just use a resolution on full screen on a 4k monitor.
