How did Bazaar ruin the economy? It was much easier for me to undercut everyone when stuff was listed, but that's not the real point.

If Bazaar was here, you can do a quick search to see what's available, instead of wasting hours of time waiting to buy something that never comes up for sale.

Bazaar made pricing a race to the bottom, just like the AH in WoW and other games. Forcing the EC “role play” added a layer to the economy which ensured items were not over circulated. A lack of scarcity leads to deflation.

Prices are already at the bottom. 95% of the gear that drops is vendored or given to random lowbies.

Gear that has been made redundant due to newer content isn’t going to be a big seller but mid tier stuff still fetchs solid plat. Hell I looted a Molten Cloak in SolA 2 days ago and sold it for 300p before I even got the chance to leave the zone. The vendor price would have been something like 5 plat. Things like Silver Chitin Wristbands would be worth 20% or less of what they sell for now if every person had an AFK merchant. On blue, things probably wouldn’t be too bad since the population is so low. That would change drastically if Green rolls over into Blue.

Bazaar sucked. I still succeeded in bazaar quest just as much as gfay quest on rallos but it was definitely trash can garbage terrible for all of you guys that enjoy BST with ingame pixels. It fully destroys your ability to make profits because everyone can set up a vendor alt and he can sell without their presence.

Think about it. You active traders fully replaced. Trust everyone..you don't want this

And don't worry it won't happen here.

If anything , staff would make an in game casino to consume plat with chances for rubicite or manastone. This is something real eq did and that I believe will actually happen on this server.

Sucks to say this but with only 30-50 people or less in ec on the weekend how are we going to buy/sell items on blue now? Might be time to enable the bazaar for those of us that still have stuff they want to accomplish on blue and don't want to start over. Sad times..

It's like when red was gathering momentum at ~300ish players on the weekend and they took the original XP bonus out.

You can still accomplish plenty with less players, maybe you'll have to grind your own items a bit more often. How unpalatable is that?

The real irony is everyone is queueing up to do it on green, but a lot never wanted to on blue <3
