NO to a second server!

Why not? They killed one perfectly good server in blue why not launch a Second green one so none of them are successful? I just had to chime in cuz this thread made me laugh. You don't want a second green server? I can relate, I didn't want this one in the first place. I almost feel completely left out, not only am I not excited about it, I can't even understand why anybody else is. "Oh boy we get to start over again, limited to original World content, a few custom rules and a level cap of 50", not only is that a hard pass for me I do not understand why people are excited about it except people who have been away for a really long time.

Because the prices are inflated, raiding is toxic, and if you want an epic piece for you better be ready to shell out 100k-500k to poopsocking neck beards stuck in their chairs since 2002.

You don’t need to feel left out. In a month 500 of these guys will be back on blue. And it’ll be back to the 900 that were always on

I completely disagree with everything you said but I hope you're right about the people going back to Blue. It's none of the things you think it is that separates the Wheat and the chaf. It's not that they're "poopsocking neckbeard stuck in their chair since 2002" Hell I started last February and I don't think 500k is a lot of money. It's the way they approach the game, something they won't change and so they'll have the exact same frustrated experience on Green. But I do thank you for at least trying to explain to me what it is they're excited about: hope. It gives people hope that they can be on top. They can't, their approach to the game prevents it, but they'll learn that in time.

I'll check out green when they release kunark on it. The original era of EQ didn't really appeal to me that much, buddy of mine I worked with spent pretty much the whole original period trying to get me to start playing which I did right before kunark was released because it looks so damn cool on the box to be honest

Pretty sure it comes down to tackling content without twinks carrying you or well geared high levels available to bail you out if you mess up.

Except this cycle happens with every new server. Players are mad because they don't have access to Content X, they ask for a new server, it launches, and then Content X gets monopolized by the same exact neckbeards that monopolized it on the last server. So you ask for a new server so you can experience Content X and the cycle continues.

Team PvP sounds great until you find out that the other team has more players and now they can monopolize the content even more effectively than they did on Blue or Green or whatever other server.

Classic EQ will never be a fair game, so there will always be complaints regardless of what the devs do.

At least then players can channel their frustration into an opposing team (Threads about "fuck the Evil team" instead of deracinated individuals yelling into the void about individual player conduct) through which you have a cathartic way of satisfying your grievance (get the lads together and kill them) rather than into, well, nothing.

I spent about 45 mins to kill 2 rats until i picked a spawn point and camped one mob. Not sure if broken, or working as intended. (insert fry) 95 people in the swamp under level 5.

Also, i'm going to be reporting 94 people later when i have time to sift through the video for KSing.
