Working today, and my first call was a cardiac arrest. Regretting not calling in sick, not going to lie.

Sitting at work right now. Might try to skate out early....like 3pm. Server cramps might be alleviated by then.

I was honest with my boss. I told him that there was this online RPG game releasing a fresh server today, and I wanted to take time off work to stay home and play it as soon as it comes out. He reminded me that I am a 33 year old adult with real life responsibilities. He also told me that the server release, although well planned and intended, will probably be a complete shit show, with the server crashing or other bugs. So I decided to go to work and stay there all day, and play once I got home, if the server’s up.

I am self employed. I am my boss.

Lucky for you, your boss has some common sense.

I am the boss, so no problem there. Also, my normal work day is 05:00-13:30, so don’t even need to take leave.

I’ve always told my staff to just use persistent diarrhea as the excuse as nobody will want any more detail than that.

Yeah its nice to work for yourself, you can decide your days off and your own schedule. So I have my schedule cleared for the next week. Stocked up on drinks, food and smoke.

Lets do this!!!

All these people bragging about working for themselves may sound accomplished but are going to be on welfare in like 6 months after their companies stop bringing any money cus of evercrack lol

At least the rest of us employed jerks will be getting our own money back in the form of unemployment! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
