OMG... some of those class descriptions though... is a Druid a "nature-loving magician"? Do Enchanters really specialize in "creation of magical items and weapons"? LOL

Yeah it says the shaman is the primevil analogy to the cleric...

We just figured out in this thread they're the primgood analogy to the necromancer!

I believe this was from the PC Gamer magazine where I think Everquest was on the cover. This article really got me into this game.

RIP Keith Parkinson, that art was outstanding in those mags and on the covers.

In my treasure hunting I found this old post on some old forum! So I converted it to a forum post for our new forum!

Just stumbled on this alt Keith Parkinson art for the EQ covers and thought they belonged here:

If you want to get pro with researching with all those eq websites, use this project to scrape entire sites and do text searches through the archive.

WHOA momma! Thank you dolalin! Loramin, you have been looking for fear hate! I bet its in there?

Hmm actually the first mention of "fear" (I just did a cntrl F on the first years pages) is this:

Both Fear and Hate planes have been enhanced, in terms of how often loot is dropped by NPCs.

Where is the mention of fear 1 and hate 1? Still elusive!

That site is where I got most of the patch notes that Allakhazam didn't have: the wiki is the sum of it, Allakhazam, and some completely random site that had a single other patch note ....

... but unfortunately I don't think any of the planes were announced in the patch notes [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Verant was still new to the whole "patch notes" thing, so they didn't mention important stuff like that.

But somehow Nilbog figured out when to release them, so I'm searching for whatever evidence he used.

Corpse Bug - We've been tracking a nasty little bug that would make corpses disappear. I'm sure many of you know firsthand about this one. We finally nailed it and it should be safe to die again. Grin

There's a whole bunch of other stuff that has been fixed as well and is listed in the patch message.
Well, we're still short on actual patch notes for like the first 6 months. There definitely is a date fear went live somewhere on the internet we'll find it.

The first half of 99's patches seem to only be the cover letters. But they do give us dates to find the actual notes for. Which is great! Although Im sure there are tons not listed here too.
