No more video posting

Yea I tried one thread for all my stories but updates get buried and are hard to find. Unfortunately in these forums they don't like you editing your own posts for some reason, makes it difficult as a content creator. Ideally would just update the OP and bump upon update

I'm obviously biased, but for that sort of thing I like the idea of putting the content in the wiki (where it can be easily edited even years later), and then using the forum to just mention when new content is added to the wiki ...

... but I'm not sure how people will feel about adding erotic fan fiction to the wiki, so on second thought maybe scratch that [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Maybe start a blog?

Ya there's really no good way to do this is there. I would want each new video link to be on the first page with my original post.

I think you just have to plan ahead and make your first post say that it's about the first episode, only ... but that the second post will introduce the second episode, and so on. Also note that people can always find the latest episode in the most recent post.

That way even if you've released 100 episodes people can still start on the first page, with the first video (where you'd want them to start anyway) ... and then if they want to see the latest video it's as easy as clicking the "Last" link.

Or, if you don't want them to start with the first, just say as much in that first post: tell them to use the "Last" link and work backwards.

A mega-thread might be even better for actual fans. You could accumulate views that way as people scroll through, watch more, leave comments, and interact. I think you should at the very least make your own mega-thread and post every single video in it.

Secondly, DO NOT let detractors influence your self-promotion. They can freely click on anything they want, i.e. not your videos.
