Another weird thing bluebies do:
reminisce about the fun times had being instantly murdered by giants/griffons/wandering guards/etc while decrying EQ pvp in its entirety because of the possibility of being attacked by someone with better gear than them. Fungi twinks were a common enemy of the low level players, and brought players closer together as a community. They got bored of things pretty fast too so it's not like entire zones were locked down for hours at a time lol. Was kinda fun seeing a well-known fungi PK pop up in zone though; entire groups were like "hey x zoned in.... think we can take him? should we plan our escape? :O" | ||

PVP was an afterthought in EQ and was not originally intended. IIRC they had to *chokes back vomit* balance things out a few times due to complaints from queefs in a PVE game. Everything you mentioned there was a takeaway from UO imo. | ||||
