I’m personally still on the HP bandwagon because I believe enchanters generally get killed in edge scenarios. Mitigation helps long term, but I can go hours without getting hit. My problem is that when I’m getting hit, I usually messed up badly. In those situations, if I’m taking multiple max hits, it’s good game if I don’t have enough HP. I’d also suggest that almost no one has access to Zarza’s itemization - Eberron is probably in the top 5 of active enchanters regarding the quality of their gear - and he’s a FAR cry from this AC because to get to that level of AC requires serious DKP and DKP dedication for items that normally end up on a melee.

i was wondered before i test this,
if i have 1300ac, and 600ac, does these two acs still getting same dmg from mob? or is make it difference? i didn't test like 600ac vs 800ac because these two acs are not big difference ac value and it might be hard to make sure dmg is differece that's why i tested big jump for make sure. it was easy to see there dmg is difference. BUT i still wondering about AGI works on reduce dmg.. -_- i assume AGI is helped to tanking while i dmg test ( it was 250agi vs 130agi ) Brad McQuaid: "AGI: affects how quickly you can learn some defensive skills, how difficult it is to hit you as well as how much damage you take when you are hit If the 250 agi is the main reason why i got reduce dmg compare 130 agi . i would be confusing. i mean agi is main helped me for dmg reduce or ac is main helped me for dmg reduce i need AGI test if there agi is makes better reduce dmg than AC for pure caster. hope my assuming about agi is just wrong and troll. i love AC. not AGI ________________ Zarza <Aftermath>

Incredibly interesting. Thanks for taking the time to put some real numbers to something everyone constantly argues about based on very little actual evidence!
Also holy crap enchanter with 1330 ac!

Why wouldn't you? It lasts like 2 hours or whatever and costs nearly no mana.

Raid gear with lots of AC and hp makes you tankier
In other news water is wet JK good job on running some tests for actual numbers

AC has always been the stat for mitigating damage hits (lower chance of hits landing at max)
The question was how much this benefitted casters in terms of raw HP vs AC. (Agi above 75 is useless)
