I’m going to go one step further and say Trump played his hang on supporters. He knew this hair brained national emergency wouldn’t work but now he gets to pawn off the blame again. He saved face and won’t build the wall. He signed that disastrous spending bill which was his only bargaining chip against his political enemies.
