When I first moved to Columbia SC about a year and a half ago I was driving home from my then girlfriend's at around 1:00 AM. Was crossing a bridge about 5 mins from home and came upon an SUV parked in the right lane. I couldn't get over immediately so I pulled up behind it. Young black man emerges and points a handgun at my face. I floored it and swerved around him.

The next day there were about a dozen police cars parked at the bridge. Read the news and it turns out he was dumping bodies. So you're in good company

You're the one not understanding the law.

Someone was attempting to enter my home and I felt I was in danger. Hell, the law was updated in 2005 to include the area outside my home.

So if anything, I was too soft on the guy.

Sorry, bud. The law agrees with me.

I know it's hard to understand since it's Florida and you're probably from the West coast (I'm starting to doubt you're from Miami).
