The "Dead" faction is a pain to raise. *cry*
In Paineel, you only need enough faction to buy the key.

So I just discovered that only some of my characters are able to cast spells with a trade window open. I'm not really sure how it happened, but apparently it's not supposed to.

Hide still works though.
