Bvmmey, the guild leader of <Clue>, is the rogue in the video. He is seen with a bard's bind sight grabbing the rogue epic book, and then announcing that the book is not up, keeping the spoils for himself. He didn't know he was being watched when he did it, and (this part is not in this vid) changes his story in shout by saying "err actually the book is up, its up" about a minute later after he realized he had been caught.

To play devils avocado he didn't really steal anything, just misdirection (lol) and dishonesty. Bvmmy has a dumpster fire reputation anyway, hydraegis or whatever silly name the alliance has these days should choose their playmates more carefully.

Pretty much this. It's a ground spawn and not a mob drop, so nobody is entitled to it and it wasn't really "stolen". If there was some agreement as to how it would be handled before going up, and he ran over and snagged it, that's pretty shitty. Also, lying to the people you are raiding with about it is shitty.

He showed himself to be a liar (to his allies no less). Don't raid with scummy people in the future. If you didn't know he was scummy before, you do now. Be grateful it wasn't something worse than a 10 hour repop ground spawn.

by this I mean that the clue and DB members I've interacted with have been friendly but not hardcore loot-crazed pixel fiends, but also not expert at the game, in the same way that the nice guy at the door at my Walmart will always ask how my day was but never really check receipts. but this move by bvmmey is just so juicy and sneaky it reminds me that anyone can fall prey to pixel lust, and i am entertained by the skulduggery.
