In a healthy, rich, civil society like we have, they shouldn't. Idiots like you who care only about profits and personal financial riches (even though you're poor) somehow think that nothing bad is ever going to happen to themselves or their loved ones so it's okay to deny everyone else. Then, when something bad does happen they wonder what sort of government assistance they can get to cover the costs. Or they just don't pay and offload the burden onto someone else anyway.

Because they made life choices that put them into a occupation that a) does not pay enough or b) does not have health coverage as part of the employment package.
