Would you elaborate? It seems ogres and iksar get the hot racial for later game. Will I be able to find groups as a gnome or people pass you over?

Iksars get an ac advantage when they can finally wear velious plate, ogres get frontal stun immunity. Neither are game breaking and nobody is going to check your race. If anything they will see gnome and assume you are a twink.

End game armor has so many stats on it plus buffs taking you to the cap on many things. Plus for raid targets you just click a Midnight Mallet and sit your ass in the corner with an egg timer for how long is left on Defensive stance. Tho I think people use stopwatches on their fancy calculator watches now.

But leveling up you are probably going to want frontal stun immunity
even Slam is super useful all the times due to it being linked to Bash with a higher skillcap over kick
or even iksar ac/regen

But if you are dead set on gnome, consider going Brell deity so you can have access to that superfucking sweet dwarven cultural armor. as a gnome you wont be allowed in evil cities anyways and going brell shouldnt hurt you. even zek is cool because of that human cultural stuff

Outside of the armor is there a benefit to any diety?

All the buffs last for an hour outside of haste, which is 20 mins. At 5pp a cast, just looting gems pays for the recharges quick. +30 dex/str for 5pp an hour is worth it, even 40% haste at 5pp a cast is worth the 5pp.

Each piece sells for 2k, which is also cheap for a piece of armor you will always keep, unless you get a eyepatch of plunder. Which is still only 20% haste.

Really struggling to pick a race for war. Gnome warrior seems pretty dope but am worried I'm handicapping myself and don't want to get to end game and go "well shit this was a mistake"

Dump every possible starting point in Sta. Str is literally on every single piece of warrior gear you will get later on. I recently destroyed No Drop gloves with +20 Str, didn't need them and the AC was low. Dex is almost equally as easy to max in the end game.

Buy a set of Dwarven Plate (Str and Sta on every single piece as well as good AC). That will carry you to 50+ when you can start getting Velious quest armor.

Nothing wrong at all with a Gnome Warrior.

Can halflings peak walls like gnomes can? I read something saying sneak racial is amazing for warrior is this true?
