Anons annoy me when they're LFG anon.

/who all LFG: [anon] Soandso <Zerg Guild> etc. Retarded really. Also, when people /ooc for help with something and I can't see where they are, I'm likely to not help. When people /auc WTB or WTS something, I always /who all them to see where they are. If they're anon I don't buy or sell with them because I don't want to waste my time running around trying to meet up with them in Lguk or something.

I understand some people going anon, its needed sometimes. But to see SO MANY people anon is disheartening. I mean, how am I going to harrass you anon people for buffs? WTF? IT'S ALL ABOUT ME OK?

I cleric'ed on live and never went anon; rezz/buff requests aren't such a big distraction/annoyance as you would think. Especially because on live I'd glibly answer "sure, for 10000pp" or "Give me a full earring of Solstice kit" or "For a windblade" and I'd occassionally get lucky.

The worst part about anon is when an entire zone in is anon, and you /who all zone, and it ends up camped. The second worst part is having anon people ask you for something, because they're probably hiding the fact that the buff/rezz/port request is coming from a level 22 character 4000 zones away. The third worst part of anon is having someone anon in the group that cons dark blue, but seems to be having some trouble doing damage/holding agro/etc. Then you find out they're ~10 levels low the the rest of the party. I don't think it's awful, but it certainly is mildly annoying.

I can't help noticing that none of the people offended by /role and /anon play a level 50 buff, port or rez class.

A little trick I learned on rallos zek, type /guildstatus to see an anonymous person's guild. Go /roleplay which makes you anon, but shows your guild tag. That's acceptable.

I didn't trust anonymous people long before MQ showed up.

I also noticed a LOT of people are from the pvp servers of Zek.

As former Rallos Zek, I know that for years I'm used to not trusting people or be skeptical of those that are /anon as opposed to /role to hide your guild tag for one reason or another. Not generally to be PK'd, but for many other reasons - just you ask "Why would he want to hide his guild tag - suspicious"
