Indeed. Rangers today have no xp penalty (same with all hybrids).

As a class it is fun as hell. As long as you acknowledge and accept the limitations of the class you will not be disappointed.

Because they don't fit into the Warrior / Monk / Rogue / Enchanter / Shaman / Cleric perfect 6 man group.

Kidding aside, rangers are fine if you aren't into being a strong class.

You should they are pretty dam fun for group content and are all stars in out door zones.

Rangers are my favorite class, but the way they are now they are tough to play, arrows only stack to 20 so they take up a ton of space, also they are very gear dependent.
